Curvature effect on surface topography and uniform scallop height control in normal grinding of optical curved surface considering wheel vibration

چکیده

High-precision optical components with complex shapes or microstructures have been extensively used in numerous fields such as biomedicine, energy and aerospace. In order to accurately achieve the specific functions of components, form accuracy uniform surface quality need reach an ever-high level. To this, ultra-precision normal grinding is for machining various types surfaces. However, intricate variation workpiece curvature wheel vibration gives rise great challenges obtain higher precision conditions. this study, influence on topography generation has investigated a novel model scallop height developed curved surface. addition, relative analyzed experimentally, which micro-waviness consequence unbalanced modeled validated by experiments. Finally, micro sinusoidal array setting value achieved controlling feed speed, determined local profile. The results indicated that posed significant effect uniformity valid control effectively.
